Crop Solutions Ltd, the UK’s leading supplier of crop covers and crop cover machinery, have finalised a deal with Mason Brothers to provide a new warehouse facility near Boston, Lincolnshire.
Mason Bros who run a large Cold Storage, Grading and Transport operation near Swineshead recently acquired a modern warehousing facility formerly known as P F Booth & Son at North End, Swineshead. It is at this new site that Crop Solutions will establish their new Depot.
This new Boston Depot will allow Crop Solutions to store their full range of products in Lincolnshire, in the heart of one of the country’s best known vegetable growing regions.
Crop solutions MD Ian Campbell commented “We work very hard to provide our customers with a professional and efficient service at all times. This new facility will help us reduce lead times and transport costs to all our customers based in England”.
Geoff Wright based in Lincolnshire and Area Manager with Crop Solutions was at Masons to see the first delivery arrive into stock. He told the Veg Farmer “This new deal with Masons for storage and transport gives us a real local presence down here”. Adding “It will make my life easier as it allows me to bring customers here to show them what we do and it gives them the opportunity to collect ex warehouse to save cost”.
As well as their new warehouse this month sees Crop Solutions celebrate their 10th Anniversary in the crop cover industry.
During the past 10 years the company has built a solid reputation for supplying high quality covers, excellent service, competitive pricing and honest advice.
To ensure that the company continues to deliver these same values during the next 10 years the company has recently invested in four new staff.
Ian Campbell said “Our new team that have joined during the past 18 months all come with a very strong background in agriculture. This is a huge benefit for our customers as our team both enjoy and understand farming and all that goes with it”
The team at Crop Solutions would like to thank their customers past and present for their loyalty and support during the past ten years and look forward to being of service in the new season which is about to start.
