Machinery Business Update

In May 2025, Crop Solutions Ltd and Crop Solutions Europe BV were acquired by H L Hutchinson Ltd. As Hutchinsons are not involved in the farm machinery sector, the machinery division of the business was subsequently sold to de Jongh Machines BV.

This transition was a natural progression, as de Jongh Machines BV has been manufacturing our machinery range since 2022. Following more than 10 years of collaboration with Bert de Jongh, we are confident the business will continue to grow and develop under their leadership.

Bert de Jongh is the owner of both de Jongh Machines BV and Plant Systems Europe BV, specialists in vegetable machinery including planters, weeders, bed formers, poly layers, and crop cover machinery. The company is also the Dutch dealer for Ferrari and Forigo.

We are also pleased to announce that Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd has been appointed as the main distributor for de Jongh Machines BV across the UK and Ireland. Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd will stock new machinery and a comprehensive range of spare parts at their Sutterton depot, ensuring continued support, availability, and service for customers throughout the region.
