New MK1 Crop Cover Rolling & Unrolling Machine
Crop Solutions Ltd, the UK’s leading supplier of crop covers and crop cover machinery have just announced the launch of their new Crop Cover Rolling & Unrolling Machine. This new machine is aimed at smaller growers who handle up to 40 ha of crop covers per year.
Like our existing range this new machine also has in-cab controls, a hydraulic headstock, a tension system to keep the covers neatly rolled up and a stretch wrapper to wrap the finished rolls for safe transport and storage.
It can roll up fleece, polythene and insect nets up to 25m wide x 200m long and weighing up to 750kgs per roll. Unlike the MK4 system where one machine rolls up and the other one unrolls them, this new machine is capable of rolling up crop covers and then unrolling them again which makes it much cheaper and the ideal option for smaller growers.
Our current MK4 Rolling Machines and MK4 Unrolling Machines continue to sell well. This new smaller machine is expected to complement our current machinery range and will offer customers more choice.
