Specification

We supply four different types of insect net in a variety of widths from 2m to 25m. The standard widths are 13m and 25m but we can make other sizes to order.

1.3mm Net
This net offers a high level of protection from cabbage root fly, carrot root fly, turnip root fly and offers a degree of protection from flea beetle. Mainly used on swede, brassicas, and organic carrots.

0.8 mm Net
Controls the above plus flea beetle and swede midge. It gives a degree of protection from aphids. Mainly used on brassicas, baby leaf and organics.

0.6mm Net
Controls the above plus aphids. Used on baby leaf, organics and sprouts.

0.3mm Net
Controls the above plus thrips. Normally only required when thrips can be a problem for example on leeks or soft fruit.

Widths

Most of our nets are available in 3.5m, 4.2m, 5m, 7m, 8.4m, 13m, 18m, 20m and 25m widths

Availability

We carry stock but most of our nets are normally made to order. Standard sizes are normally 13m and 25m wide, everything else has to be specially made. Lead times on our insect nets vary from 4 to 20 weeks so it is vital to plan ahead to ensure the net arrives on time.
