How to Use

  • Fleece needs to be well secured by using soil, sand bags or plastic pegs
  • We normally recommend securing with soil but pegs are ideal for use inside tunnels, where the fleece needs to be regularly removed
  • If using pegs in an open field it is best to fold the edges over two or three times to create a stronger fixing
  • To avoid excessive flapping and damage caused by the wind the fleece should be laid tight over the crop like a bed sheet
  • Unlike insect net it will stretch as the crop grows
  • Our 19g and 22g fleeces should last for 2 - 3 seasons, depending on the crop, weather conditions and how it is handled
  • We now supply a brand new rolling machine which is ideal for rolling up fleece for reuse, recycling and disposal
